Ahmedabad-based Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon (DRA Infracon) has secured the bid to develop a 121 km long section of the Guwahati Ring Road in Assam, on a build, operate, and transfer (BOT) toll model.
DRA Infracon was the lowest bidder for the Rs 4,900 crore highway project in Assam, offering to construct the highway without requiring any grant from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Other contenders included a joint venture between Adani Group and Ashoka Buildcon, and state-owned Rail Vikas Nigam.
