PNC Infratech has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a contract involving the construction of a high-level bridge and approach road on Hathouri–Atrar–Bavangama–Aurai Road in Bihar.
Issued by Bihar State Road Development Corporation (BSRDC), the order is to beawarded under Civil Work Contract Package No. BSFIP-IV/15, involves a total length of 21.30 km and will be executed on the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode. The winning bid was finalised at Rs 495.54 crore. Financial bids were officially opened on 04 September, 2025.
The project, classified as a domestic civil works contract, has a completion timeline of 36 months from the date of commencement. Once completed, the bridge and approach road will significantly enhance regional connectivity, improve transport infrastructure, and support economic activity in the area. The development reflects BSRDC’s commitment to modernizing Bihar’s road and bridge network through large-scale infrastructure investments.
