Dilip Buildcon has been declared the lowest bidder (L-1) for the four-laning of Paramakudi to Ramanathapuram section of NH49 (New NH87) in Tamil Nadu.
The work issued by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) spans a length of 46.665 km, and is to be executed under the hybrid annuity model (HAM) with an estimated cost of Rs 879.30 crore. The construction of this crucial road stretch is slated to be completed within 24 months, after which the operational period will extend for 15 years from the date of completion (COD).
The project aims to enhance road infrastructure in Tamil Nadu, improving travel efficiency and safety for commuters. Once completed, this four-lane highway will significantly contribute to the region's connectivity, facilitating smoother transportation and economic growth.
