NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has invited expression of interest (EoI) from global green chemical developers to set up projects in India’s first green hydrogen hub at Pudimadaka, near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Envisioned as the country’s largest integrated green hydrogen and green chemicals ecosystem, the hub is designed to produce 2.5 million tonne per annum (MTPA) of green chemicals such as ammonia, methanol, green urea, and e-SAF (sustainable aviation fuel). The mega facility will include a seven GW electrolyser capacity, 7.5 GW GIS substations, 7.5 GW transmission lines linked with CTU substations, along with a captive port/jetty, desalination plant, chemical storage, logistics area, utilities, and common infrastructure.
The closing date for submission of EOI is 24 October 2025.
