Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray laid the foundation stone for a medical college-cum-hospital in Alibaug, Raigarh district of Maharashtra.
As per the project plan, the proposed medical college will have 100 seats and the hospital will be able to accommodate 500 patients.
The medical college will be set up at an investment of Rs 450 crore and will be located in the Usar village of Alibaug.
Earlier in 2022, a medical college with 76 students was made functional at the location from a temporary campus on a plot belonging to RCF.
