The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for a greenfield highway project. G R Infraprojects has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) in a financial bid opening on March 9, 2023. The bid is worth Rs 1248.37 crore.
The project scope involves the construction of a six-lane greenfield Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata highway from Anarbansalea village to Sagrampur village (from km. 151+200 to km. 184+700, in package-7, 33.50 km long) under Bharatmala Pariyojana in Bihar.
The contract's completion period is 730 days from the date of appointment, and the operation period is 15 years from the date of commercial operation. The project will be implemented on hybrid annuity (HAM) mode.
