G R Infraprojects has been selected as the preferred bidder in the financial bid opening on 13 March, 2025 for a National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) project under the Ministry of Road, Transport & Highways (MoRTH).
The project involves the construction of the Agra-Gwalior Greenfield Road, divided into two sections. The first section includes developing a six-lane access-controlled highway from Deori village in Agra to Susera village in Gwalior, covering Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. The second section entails overlaying, strengthening, and implementing safety and improvement measures on the existing Agra-Gwalior stretch of NH-44 between chainages 1058.00 to 1148.00 (design chainage 13.00 to 103.00).
The contract, awarded under the design, build, finance, operate, and transfer (DBFOT) model at BOT (Toll) mode under the NH(O) scheme, has an estimated cost of Rs 4,262.78 crore and is to be completed within 30 months from the appointed date.
