The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has announced the construction of a sixlane bi-directional flyover from Miyapur X Road to Allwyn X Road, alongside two three-lane unidirectional underpasses, as part of a major traffic improvement initiative.

The flyover aims to ease congestion in key areas like IT corridors, Gachibowli, and Miyapur, which suffer from heavy traffic due to increasing residential and workforce density. The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 530 crore, funded under the Hyderabad City Innovative and Transformative Project (H-CITI).

GHMC has called for proposals for surveys, design, and execution, with a two-year defect liability period (DLP). The project includes specific provisions such as crash barriers, footpaths, and drainage systems. Tenders are due by November 20, with technical bids opening on the same day.
