GR Infraprojects has been declared the lowest bidder (L-1) for establishing a transmission system for evacuation of power from RE projects in Rajgarh (1,500 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh – Phase III.
The work also includes the evacuation of power from RE Projects in Neemuch (1,000 MW) SEZ – Phase II through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB). The contract will be executed in BOOT mode with a completion timeline of 24 months from SPV acquisition and an O&M period of 35 years. The awarded work involves an annual transmission charge of Rs 3670.73 million.
Key components include establishing a 2x500 MVA, 400/220 kV substation at Handiya with 2x125 MVAr 420 kV bus reactors, creation of a new 220 kV Bus Section-II at Neemuch PS, and augmentation of transformation capacity by installing 3x500 MVA, 400/220 kV ICTs (third, fourth & fifth) at Neemuch S/s along with associated bays. Additionally, four 220 kV line bays will be constructed at Neemuch PS for renewable energy interconnection.
This project aims to strengthen transmission infrastructure and facilitate seamless integration of large-scale renewable energy into the grid.
