HBL Engineering has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from West Central Railway.
The order is for the survey, design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of trackside KAVACH equipment across stations and level crossing (LC) gate locations in the Kota–Ruthiyai section and Sogaria–Kota "C" section of the Kota division.
The scope includes erection of towers and all associated works necessary for implementing KAVACH, India’s indigenous train collision avoidance system. It covers a total of 166 route km and involves 18 stations. The contract, valued at Rs 54.12 crore, must be completed within 24 months.
KAVACH aims to enhance operational safety by preventing collisions and over-speeding incidents while ensuring signal compliance. This contract strengthens HBL’s presence in railway safety technology implementation.
The company’s total accumulated order book now stands at Rs 4,083.17 crore, reflecting steady business growth and a robust pipeline in the railway infrastructure sector.
