Hexaware Technologies plans to construct a campus
at Siruseri Information Technology Park, near Chennai in Tamil Nadu.
The proposed project to be implemented in three
phases will come up in an area of 27 acres of land with an investment of
Rs.350 crore. The proposed campus is likely to accommodate over 11,000
employees.
The Phase-I to be completed in January 2007 will
cover 4.50 lakh sq. ft and accommodate around 3,000 employees with an investment
of Rs.100 crore. The remaining two phases is scheduled for completion within
five years and will have a built up area of 3.50 lakh sq. ft each.
The IT and business process outsourcing company
will move employees from its city centres to the new campus, which is developed
by architects Team 3 of Singapore. At present, it has about 1,300 employees
working in the city, and the new campus will provide job opportunities to over
9,000 employees in the next five years.
