Infosys is set to expand its presence in Punjab by investing Rs 300 crore in a new campus in Mohali, according to Punjab Industry Minister Sanjeev Arora.
The upcoming campus will be developed over 30 acres of land. In the first phase, three lakh sq. ft. of space will be constructed, which is expected to generate employment for 2,500 people in the city. The second phase will see the development of an additional 4.8 lakh sq. ft.
The investment is part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its operations in Northern India and contribute to regional development through employment creation and infrastructure expansion. Minister Arora noted that Infosys, which has had a presence in Mohali since 2017, is continuing to grow due to strong support from the state government.
