KMC Constructions has secured a Rs 1,274 crore contract from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), for the development of a national highway section in Himachal Pradesh.
A Letter of Award (LOA) for development of the national highway section in Himachal Pradesh was issued by NHAI, under Phase -IV B of National Highways Development Projects (NHDP).
The project includes development of the 26 km long Nerchowk - Pandoh, including Pandoh bypass section of the NH-21.
The project will have two bypasses, which are the Mandi Bypass, approx around eight km; and the Pandoh Bypass of approx five km; three twin tube two lane tunnels; 11 minor bridges; six major bridges; and three vehicular underpasses.
The roadway project will be carried out on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode.
The scheduled time for completion of the project is 30 months from the date of commencement.
