KPIG Energia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KPI Green Energy, has secured a letter of award (LoA) from Aditya Birla Renewables (ABRL) for a 64 MWac/96 MWp Solar Balance of System (BoS) power plant in Mahua, Gujarat.
The announcement, made on 06 August, 2025, outlines KPIG’s responsibility for end-to-end execution of the project, including design, engineering, procurement, supply, logistics, and insurance. As part of the contract, KPIG will undertake erection, testing, synchronization, and commissioning of the plant in accordance with the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (CoD). The company will also carry out performance acceptance tests (PAT) and facility acceptance tests (FAT) to ensure the plant meets operational benchmarks.
This development strengthens KPI Green Energy's portfolio in India’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector and reflects increasing collaboration among private players in sustainable power generation. The partnership with Aditya Birla Renewables, a leading player in the clean energy space, highlights mutual commitment to scaling solar infrastructure in the country.
