Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (RRVUNL) has issued a tender for the construction of five 400 kV transmission lines to interconnect four power plant stations (PPS-1 to PPS-4) within its 3,310 MW Pugal solar park.
These transmission elements will play a critical role in enabling seamless power evacuation from the solar park at Pugal to the proposed Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (RVPN) grid substation (GSS) in Bikaner district. The work scope includes detailed surveying, design, supply of equipment, erection, testing, and commissioning.
The infrastructure is intended to ensure optimal transmission capacity for renewable energy integration into the state grid, reduce congestion, and enhance reliability. The completion period for transmission elements 1 and 2 is 15 months from the date of the letter of award (LoA), while the overall project completion period is 18 months from the LOA date.
