On October 30, the Karnataka Cabinet approved projects worth Rs 2,296 crore as part of the Greater Bengaluru Action Plan (GBA) to address deteriorating infrastructure issues in the city.
	
	The plan includes the asphalting of roads and development works across five urban corporations under the GBA, with an estimated cost of Rs 1,241.57 crore. An additional Rs 1,055 crore will be allocated for ward-level infrastructure improvement under the Chief Minister's development scheme. The Cabinet also sanctioned the establishment of eight new Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) 2.0 in various districts with an outlay of Rs 80 crore.
	
	These TBIs aim to foster innovation and support tech startups. Moreover, land compensation for the integrated solid waste management (ISWM) project in Bengaluru will be fixed at Rs 1.5 crore per acre.
