The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has decided to construct a flyover on Andheri Ghatkopar Link Road in order to decongest traffic.
The flyover will be constructed starting from the Ghatkopar end of Andheri Ghatkopar Link Road junction connecting it with Eastern Express Highway (EEH) ending at Vikhroli near the Godrej factory.
The length of the flyover will be approximately 650 mtr and will cost around Rs 35 crore.
Bids have been floated recently to appoint a contractor to prepare a detailed design of the flyover and also undertake its construction. The flyover is expected to be completed in 18 months.
