The medical college in the Eastern Region is to be constructed at Birtamod in Jhapa district of Nepal.
The 600-bed-capacity medical college will be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.48 billion. The hospital facility under the medical college will be constructed at ten kattha plot at Anarmani-3 and the academic and research facility at Dhaijan VDC-4. There will be 52 doctors available daily and the hospital will have 18 ICU, an equal number of CCU and a modern MRI unit. The medical college will be called B&C Medical College.
