1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Microsoft expands in Hyderabad, Telangana CM inaugurates new campus

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu has inaugurated Microsoft's new 1.1 million sq. ft. LEED-certified campus in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, marking the company's 25 years of presence in the city.

The new facility will accommodate 2,500 additional employees, with Microsoft planning to hire 4,800 more, further solidifying Hyderabad’s position as a global IT hub. The Hyderabad centre is Microsoft's largest R&D hub outside its US headquarters, employing over 20,000 professionals in India, with more than half based in Hyderabad.

As part of the inauguration, Microsoft announced several key AI initiatives in partnership with the Telangana government. Under the ADVANTA(I)GE TELANGANA program, Microsoft will establish an AI Foundations Academy, introducing AI education in 500 government schools and benefiting 50,000 students.

Additionally, an AI Centre of Excellence (AICoE) will be set up to develop a cloud-based AI infrastructure and create a centralised AI Knowledge Hub. Microsoft also revealed a significant investment of Rs 15,000 crore to expand its hyperscale AI data centres in the state.
