Officials have been instructed to fast-track TUDA and municipal projects with a focus on infrastructure. The TDP government has cleared 73 lakh tonne and will finish the balance by October 2.

The Minister announced six new “waste-to-energy” plants and confirmed facilities for all 123 municipalities. Under AMRUT, every household will get clean water in three years. He also promised resolution of TDR bond issues in Visakhapatnam, Guntur, and Tirupati, and land disputes in Settipalli. On urban growth, he said the approved Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) will support Tirupati’s transformation into a “Mega City.”
