NBCC has signed a memorandum of understanding with Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO) to jointly develop infrastructure projects worth Rs 3,700 crore in Jaipur, including the prestigious Rajasthan Mandapam near Jaipur International Airport.
Covering a 95-acre prime land parcel, NBCC has been appointed as the exclusive executing agency responsible for master planning, architectural design, engineering, construction, and international-standard marketing. The project will be funded through an initial Rs 50 crore interest-free advance from RIICO, supplemented by revenues from sale and lease of built-up spaces and planned plots.
Government support of up to Rs 635 crore has also been earmarked for the Mandapam. The target completion timeline is 30 months, subject to statutory and internal approvals. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Industry Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, and senior officials from both NBCC and RIICO attended the MoU signing ceremony, underscoring the state’s focus on boosting infrastructure and economic growth.
