NTPC has invited RfQs for 'Coal Handling Plant' package for the Gadarwara Super Thermal Power Project (STPP), stage-I located at Gadarwara, in Madhya Pradesh.
RfQs have been invited for detailed design, engineering, manufacture, shop fabrication, assembly, testing and inspection at manufacturer's works, packing, dispatch, transportation, transit, insurance and custom clearance amongst others.
NTPC will finance this package through external commercial borrowings or own sources.
The company is developing 1,600 MW (2X800 MW) Gadarwara super thermal power unit with supercritical technology at Gadarwara in Narsimhapur district of Madhya Pradesh. The project, spread over 1,350 acre, is estimated to cost Rs 11,640 crore.
