1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

L&T bags various orders worth Rs 1,383 cr

The Electrical & Gulf Projects Operating Company - a part of L&T Construction Division has secured various orders aggregating Rs 1,015 crore while L&T's Metallurgical, Material Handling & Water Operating Company has secured orders worth Rs 368 crore.

The company bagged orders worth Rs 811 crore from TRANSCO for the construction of 3x132 kV substations at Al Wathba, Mohd Bin Zayed City including Sudha Port Fujairah. L&T also secured an order from Oman Electricity Transmission Company for the construction of 132/33 kV substation at Quariyat Area including installation of overhead lines in the Muscat Governorate. The company also got another order from Public Authority for Electricity and Water, Oman, to carrying out SCAD A works for water transmission network.

The company secured three orders valued at Rs 204 crore in India. This includes construction of one 220/66 kV substation at Bengaluru for Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation and another 220kV substation at Dhule and Bhableshwar in Maharashtra for Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company including conversion of 11 kV overhead lines to underground cabling network in Margao for Goa Electricity Department.

L&T's Water & Effluent Treatment Business Unit has secured an order worth Rs 239 crore from Indian Oil Corporation. The scope of work is to construct storm water drains, reservoir, laying of sea outfall pipeline and lift station including supply of pumping machinery at Paradip in Orissa. The order is to be completed in 12 months.

Further, orders worth Rs 129 crore have been secured as add-on works to ongoing projects of Metallurgical, Material Handling and Water OC.
