Favorich Infra is setting up a first mega food park unit at Bannenahalli in Mandya district of Karnataka. The cost of the project is Rs 350 crore.
The project will spread over 300 acre of land, including construction of warehouse with a capacity of 26,000 tonne and also manufacture following products like processed food of 2,400 tpa, fruits and vegetable juices of 12,000 tpa. It will also have a biomass-based power unit of 12 MW.
In August 2014, Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah laid foundation stone. In December 2015, around 180 acre of land was acquired.
The project received environment clearance (EC) in November 2017. In September 2019, the Single Window State Level Clearance Committee (SLSWCC), approved consent to establish the project.
As per information available with Projects Today, around 90 percent civil work has been completed. The completion is pre-scheduled for June 2020.
