The long-awaited Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, will officially begin operations on 30 October, 2025, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu announced.
After several delays, the airport is set to handle its first passenger flights, initially connecting 10 major Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. This launch marks a significant milestone for Uttar Pradesh’s infrastructure push, as the project is expected to enhance regional connectivity, reduce congestion at Delhi Airport, and strengthen India’s aviation network.
Industry stakeholders believe Jewar will emerge as a key hub for both domestic and future international flights. The government has positioned the airport as a model of modern infrastructure, with advanced facilities to handle growing air traffic.
