Rainbow Children’s Medicare (RCML), a leading pediatric multi-specialty and perinatal care hospital chain, is set for growth trajectory with strategic investments and service expansion. In the last quarter of FY24-25, the company invested Rs 218.3 million in capital expenditures to enhance existing hospitals and expand its network.
The company also introduced Butterfly Essentials, a specialised retail store catering to the unique needs of children and women. Its expansion plans include multiple upcoming projects such as a 100-bed regional hub hospital in Rajahmundry, which is nearing completion and will begin operations in Q1/FY26.
Two spoke hospitals in Bengaluru, at Electronic City (90 beds) and at Hennur (60 beds), are progressing well and are expected to be operational by Q2/FY26. Construction has commenced on the 130-bed regional hub hospital in Coimbatore. In the National Capital Region (NCR), building plan approval for the Sector 56, Gurugram site has been secured, with ground-breaking expected soon, while approval for Sector-44 is awaited.
In Hyderabad, Rainbow launched a Child Development Centre at Banjara Hills, setting new standards in pediatric specialty care. This facility centralises child development services from all Rainbow hospitals in Hyderabad, providing integrated, comprehensive care under one roof. With a strong network of over 2,000 beds, including managed facilities, Rainbow is well-positioned for sustained growth.
