Techno Digital, the digital infrastructure arm of Techno Electric & Engineering Company (TEECL), has inaugurated a 36MW hyperscale data centre at SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri, Chennai, marking a major step in India’s digital infrastructure growth.
Spanning 200,000 sq. ft., the facility houses around 2,400 high-density racks, with power densities ranging from 10 kW to 50+ kW per rack, positioning it among India’s most advanced data infrastructures. Strategically located within Chennai’s IT corridor, it provides strong climate resilience and direct access to submarine cable landing stations and domestic internet networks. Equipped with a 110 kV GIS substation, dual-source underground power feeds, advanced UPS systems certified for NVIDIA GB200 series, and high-efficiency cooling through centrifugal chillers and adiabatic towers, the facility ensures both performance and reliability.
Ankit Saraiya, Director & CEO of Techno Digital, said the project reflects the company’s mission to build a “future-ready digital ecosystem” aligned with the Digital India vision. Sustainability is a core focus, wherein the centre incorporates adiabatic cooling, energy-efficient façades, water recycling, and dedicated green zones. It meets Rated 3+ reliability standards and is on track for USGBC Gold certification.
