The Telangana Government has sanctioned Rs 121.92 crore for the construction of a high-level road bridge (HLRB) over the Krishna River, downstream of the Priyadarshini Jurala Project. The bridge will connect Revulapally in Dharur Mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal District, with Nandimalla in Amarchinta Mandal, Wanaparthy District.
The Transport, Roads & Buildings Department officially issued the administrative order (G.O.Rt.No.292) on 01 July, 2025. This long-awaited infrastructure project has sparked joy across the Gadwal constituency, particularly among farmers and local residents, who have faced significant challenges due to lack of proper river connectivity. The new bridge is expected to improve transportation, agricultural logistics, and economic opportunities across the region.
Smt. Sarithamma, Congress Gadwal Constituency In-Charge, extended heartfelt thanks to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, and District In-Charge Minister Damodar Narasimha. She commended their swift action and dedication, highlighting that the order was issued promptly after inspecting the project site.
