Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) has floated a comprehensive tender for the design, supply, and construction of a 66 kV single circuit transmission line on double circuit (D/C) towers.
This is part of the Border Area and Vibrant Village Programme (VVP) (Package-III), aims to strengthen power infrastructure in remote regions of the state. Valued at Rs 92.03 crore, it covers the entire stretch from the 66/22 kV substation at Pooh to the proposed 66/22 kV substation at Sumdo.
The scope includes check survey, fabrication, galvanisation, and supply of tower materials and accessories, ACSR Wolf conductor, and 24-fibre optical ground wire (OPGW) with corresponding hardware fittings and anti-fog disc insulators. The contract encompasses transportation, as well as on-site work such as stubbing, tower erection, earthing, civil works such as retaining and breast walls, revetment construction, and end-to-end testing and commissioning of the entire transmission line.
The bid submission is set to close on 09 June, 2025.
