The trial run of the Bandikui-Jaipur Link Expressway, a critical connector between Jaipur and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, commenced on 02 July, 2025, significantly enhancing regional connectivity and reducing travel time between Delhi and Jaipur to just 2.5 to three hours. The newly constructed 66.91-km, four-lane access-controlled expressway runs from Bandikui in Dausa district of Rajasthan to Jaipur.
Built at a cost of Rs 1,368 crore, the expressway allows vehicles to travel at speeds up to 120 km/h. According to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), construction was completed ahead of schedule. The trial run began at 8 a.m. and will continue for ten days. During this period, officials will conduct facility testing and quality checks to resolve any operational issues.
The Khuri Interchange has already been opened to facilitate traffic from the Manoharpur-Kauthun highway, while other interchanges are set to open in the coming days based on the trial run's success.
