Trustwell Hospitals plans to become a 250-bed hospital with the addition of 100 new beds in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The facility, run by a group of veteran healthcare professionals, is investing Rs 25 crore for expansion which will add 150 new employment opportunitites.
The new 100 beds will be added across specialities including radiation oncology, Pet CT scan, heart & lung transplant, robotic surgery, haematology & bone marrow transplants. It plans to add two more units in Bengaluru to address the healthcare demands as it was also getting international patients for certain specialities. The hospital is spread over 1.30 lakh-sq. ft. area.
"The current lead team of doctors come with a combined experience of over 200 years. The hospital has a team of about 90 doctors and has invested Rs 100 crore, Chairman Dr HV Madhusudhan said.
