Tvasta Manufacturing Solutions, a deep-tech start-up founded by IIT Madras alumni, has built a 3D-printed G+1 villa for Godrej Properties at Godrej Eden Estate, Pune.
The 2,200 sq. ft. villa was completed in just four months, from June to October 2024, using a concrete 3D printer for on-site construction. Tvasta focuses on automation and robotics to deliver faster, cost-effective, and sustainable building solutions.
In addition to using recycled waste from construction and other industries, Tvasta’s 3D-printed walls offer improved insulation, reducing energy consumption and lowering utility costs. The company is actively working on multi-storey buildings, including villas, office spaces, and luxury guesthouses, while collaborating with government, academia, and industry to refine its technology.
“Tvasta remains committed to advancing this technology further, with plans to scale operations and develop more such collaborative partnerships in the construction space,” Co-Founder of Tvasta Manufacturing Solutions, Parivarthan Reddy said.
