Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam has floated a tender for the construction and commissioning a 43 mld sewage treatment plant (STP) and 20 kld fecal sludge co-treatment facility at the existing Salori STP in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh on design, built, operate and transfer (DBOT) basis under the ‘Namami Gange’ programme.

The work comprises construction of 43 mld sewage treatment plant (STP) and 20 kld fecal sludge co-treatment facility along with associate infrastructure including interception, diversion and construction of drain tapping of 13 drains, interceptor sewer line (2,160 mtrs.), construction of two sewage pumping station (SPS), and one effluent pumping station with 43 MLD with allied works including rising mains (4070 mtrs.), effluent gravity pipe line (200 mtrs.) and effluent rising main (250 mtrs.) and allied works.

The contract is valued at Rs 175.51 crore, and includes a 14-month construction period, along with a three-month trial run followed by 15 years of operation and maintenance (O&AM).

The bid submission due date is 19 June, 2023.
