In regards to the response received for the residential plots scheme launched by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) during Diwali, as many as 1.12 lakh applications were received for 451 residential plots in Sector-24 A.
According to the data by YEIDA, the Authority's housing plot scheme generated revenue of nearly Rs 4,848 crore, and there were 48,266 applications received for the 200 sq. mtrs. plots, 36,523 for the 162 sq. mtrs. plots, 24,063 for the 120 sq. mtrs. plots, and 1,837 applications for the 250 sq. mtrs. plots. The 260 sq m plots drew 1,333 applicants. YEIDA had launched residential plots in five categories- 120 sq. mtrs., 162 sq. mtrs., 200 sq. mtrs., 250 sq. mtrs., and 260 sq. mtrs.. On offer were 100 plots of 120 sq. mtrs., 169 plots of 162 sq. mtrs., 172 plots of 200 sq. mtrs., six plots of 250 sq. mtrs., and four plots of 260 sq. mtrs.
The plots are priced at Rs 25,900 per sq. mtrs. The draw will be conducted on 27 December, 2024. The scheme closed on 30 November, 2024.
