Malaxmi NBFA Ventures Pvt Ltd has
bagged a national highways development project from National Highways Authority
of India (NHAI). The order valued at Rs.300 crore is for four-laning of the
Laknadon-MP/MAH Border section from km 547.40 to km 596.75 in Madhya Pradesh on
BOT annuity basis. The formal concession agreement is expected to be signed in
the coming weeks, according to information available from company sources.
Meanwhile, there is news of Malaxmi
having been shortlisted for the elevated mass rapid transit system project in
Andhra Pradesh. The company has bid for developing three sections of 59 km of
the project.
In another development, a consortium
led by Malaxmi has also been shortlisted for developing a 3x120 MW coal-based
power plant in Meghalaya.
