KEC International bagged two contracts
worth Rs.400 crore in Saudi Arabia and Namibia. This includes
- Saudi Arabian Mining Company (MA'ADEN)
awarded the contract for 380 kV double circuit transmission lines of 123 km
length connecting Saudi Arabia Electricity Co's substation to MA'ADEN power
plant site at Ras Az Zawr. Work on the contract is scheduled for completion
within 22 months [contract value: Rs.260 crore].
- In Namibia, the company has been
awarded a turnkey job of 350 kV double circuit bipolar HVDC transmission line
of 306 Kms. from Bagani to Zambezi for NAMPOWER. The contract is to be
completed within a period of 22 months. [contract value: Rs.140 crore]
