Aimtron Group, a leading electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and original design manufacturing (ODM) company, has established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Aimtron Mechatronics, in Gujarat.

Announced on September 11, the new entity is backed by an initial Rs three crore share capital commitment from Aimtron’s Board. The company has also mobilized Rs 100 crore through the issuance of convertible warrants on a preferential basis. The upcoming plant is designed to enhance Aimtron’s production capabilities while fostering employment opportunities in the region.

In its first phase, the facility is projected to generate 250–300 direct employment, with employment expected to scale beyond 1,000 as operations expand. Furthermore, the project aims to create around 2,500 indirect work opportunities across supply chains, logistics, and allied services. By setting up this advanced unit, Aimtron Group seeks to strengthen its position in India’s rapidly growing electronics manufacturing ecosystem and support the government’s push for domestic manufacturing and self-reliance.
