Elista has launched its first Smart TV unit from its newly inaugurated manufacturing facility in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, marking a major milestone in the state’s electronics sector.

The company also dispatched its first export consignment of 650 premium Smart TVs (43 to 85 inches), valued at Rs 2.55 crore to Dubai under the India-Dubai Free Trade Agreement. The Kadapa facility, developed with a Rs 250 crore phased investment, spans 1.32 lakh sq. ft. and has an annual production capacity of  one million Smart TVs and LED monitors in its first phase. Phase 2 will add washing machines, dishwashers, and smart accessories to its product line.

Located near Chennai and Visakhapatnam ports, the plant enables fast exports and employs 200+ skilled professionals, with plans to generate 500 work roles. The facility features automated assembly, robotics, and eco-friendly initiatives such as rainwater harvesting and solar energy. Elista has also announced a localized Smart TV interface to promote regional content, underlining its Make in India and export-led growth vision.
