Global audio player QCY has announced plans to establish a wearable technology manufacturing plant in Manesar, Haryana for its entry into India.
While the investment value remains undisclosed, the company targets a USD 75–100 million market share by 2026, aligning with the government’s Make in India initiative. QCY will launch six flagship products, including TWS earbuds, headphones, and speakers, during the festive season.
India’s wearable technology market, estimated at USD 1.3 billion in 2024, is expected to reach USD 1.5 billion by 2026, offering significant growth potential. The company's upcoming plant will be supported by global collaborations, including Qualcomm, ensuring high-quality, patented innovations at competitive prices. QCY, with existing infrastructure spanning 73,000 sq. m., 140 production lines, and an annual output of 22 million units, operates in 30+ countries and will strengthen its retail network in India.
