Andhra Pradesh Roads & Buildings Minister BC Janardhan Reddy has announced that Rs 1,430 crore is required to reconstruct 352 bridges across the state, addressing concerns raised by multiple MLAs in the Assembly.
The reconstruction is planned to be funded through the 16th Finance Commission. The Minister informed that the current NDA government has taken swift action, spending RS 1,080 crore on pothole repairs shortly after assuming office. The reconstruction of these bridges is a key infrastructure priority, aimed at improving connectivity and safety for the state's residents.
