The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a tender for the upgradation of an existing two-lane carriageway to a four-lane highway on NH-56 in Gujarat.
The 60.21 km stretch covers chainage 208.90 (km 535.93) at Nasarpore village in Umarpada taluka to chainage 269.11 (km 608.51) at Malotha village in Vyara taluka. This development falls under hybrid annuity model (HAM), Package VI, with a contract value of Rs 1,382.41 crore.
The project aims to improve road capacity and connectivity in the region, supporting economic growth and smoother traffic flow.
The bid submission deadline is 06 November, 2025.
