Bansal Construction Works has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the development of Ujjain-Jaora access controlled greenfield highway in Madhya Pradesh. The work will be developed as a four-lane highway with paved shoulders under the hybrid annuity mode (HAM).
The company's bid value is Rs 1,676.36 crore. The scope includes access-controlled infrastructure with a design length of 98.41 km, and a dedicated spur link to Ujjain city, improving regional accessibility and logistics efficiency.
Once operational, the highway is expected to decongest existing routes, and improve transport efficiency across central Madhya Pradesh. It aligns with broader national objectives under the Bharatmala Pariyojana to develop high-quality, high-speed highways across India.
