The Haryana government has sanctioned infrastructure projects worth Rs 523 crore, targeting stormwater management, expressway repairs, sanitation, and industrial development.
Approvals were granted during a High Powered Works Purchase Committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. In Gurugram, Rs 104.95 crore was cleared for building 18.32 km of reinforced cement concrete stormwaterdrains from Sector- 76 to 80 and along NH-48 in Sector 48, with water directed to the Najafgarh drain via Badshahpur drain to curb monsoon waterlogging.
A Rs 48 crore allocation will repair the 60-km Manesar– Palwal stretch of the Kundli–Manesar–Palwal (KMP) expressway, which “needs immediate repairs,” enhancing road safety and connectivity.
Additionally, Faridabad will get a Rs 58 crore, 45 MLD sewage treatment plant with a tertiary treatment unit to boost sanitation and water recycling. Officials said these projects will improve water supply, traffic facilities, and industrial infrastructure across Haryana.
