Hyderabad SRDP Masterplan

The Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP) has been taken up as a high priority project for the development of Greater Hyderabad by the government of Telangana and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

The project is taken up in four phases comprising skyways, major corridors, roads, grade separators and flyovers. The projects would ensure overall improvement in connectivity and ease traffic congestions.

The works under first phase is divided into five packages which will be executed on EPC mode. The government has given administrative sanction for amount worth Rs 2,631 crore for flyovers and junctions to be constructed under the Phase-I.

While the Phase-I of the project is expected to be ready by end 2018, the subsequent phases are awaiting approvals from different agencies. The entire project will entail an investment of around Rs 20,000 crore.
