NBCC (India), in collaboration with the University of Delhi, is set to begin work on a Rs 370-crore Hostel cum Residential Block at the Dhaka Complex under the Institution of Eminence initiative.
The 'Bhoomi Poojan' ceremony was held on 29 September, 2025, with key dignitaries from both institutions in attendance. Designed to accommodate over 1,400 students in gender-specific blocks, the facility includes single, triple, married en-suite, and master apartments. Spread across 7.28 acres with a built-up area of 70,000 sq. mtrs., the project emphasises sustainability with a 3-Star GRIHA rating, featuring rooftop solar panels (55 kWp), rainwater harvesting, 10 EV charging stations, and waste management systems. It offers 20 percent greenscape and parking for 400+ vehicles.
Supporting academic and holistic development, the complex includes libraries, computer rooms, dining halls, recreational areas, and faculty amenities, aiming to transform student life on campus.
