RailTel Corporation of India has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC) to establish and operationalise Virtual Classrooms (VEs) in government secondary and senior secondary schools under the Samagra Shiksha initiative.

The order is valued at Rs 50.62 crore and is scheduled for completion by 31 December, 2025. This contract is part of RailTel’s expanding portfolio, contributing to its robust order book, which stood at Rs 7,288 crore as of August 2025. The growth is driven by major educational infrastructure projects, including smart classrooms and lab setups for Bihar schools. This significant order further reinforces RailTel’s role in supporting digital education infrastructure across India.

Despite the surge in orders, the company continues to focus on efficient execution to capitalize on these opportunities in the education sector.
