Suzlon Group, a renewable energy solutions provider has secured a 100.8 MW wind energy order from Sunsure Energy. The contract marks Sunsure’s entry into the wind energy sector and represents a significant expansion of its renewable energy portfolio.
As part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply 48 of its advanced S120 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a capacity of 2.1 MW, mounted on Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLTs). The work execution will be in the Jath region of Maharashtra and will be delivered in EPC mode. Suzlon’s scope of work includes the supply, erection, installation, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as comprehensive operations and maintenance services following the project's commissioning.
This initiative also supports India’s broader renewable energy transition by incorporating wind power into Sunsure’s clean energy offerings.
