The Planning Department, Maharashtra has issued tender to build various facilities under the Shri Kshetra Bhimashankar Development Plan (Part-I Nigdale).
The project, located in Taluka Ambegaon, district Pune, focuses on enhancing tourism and pilgrimage infrastructure at the sacred Bhimashankar site. The scope of work includes the construction of a Bhavik Suvidha Kendra (pilgrim amenities centre), roads, parking terminal, bus stand, driver toilets, and compound wall, ensuring convenience and accessibility for visitors, and is to be carried out at an estimated cost of Rs 106.97 crore.
Designed to accommodate increasing tourist inflow, the project will provide improved facilities while supporting regional connectivity and sustainable development. By integrating modern amenities with heritage significance, this initiative aims to boost tourism, create better infrastructure for pilgrims, and strengthen local economic growth.
The bid submisison closing date is 24 October, 2025.
