KEC International has bagged three orders worth Rs 111 crore from different
companies for power transmission related works in the Middle East and Australia,
besides India.
The company has secured Rs 58 crore order from TRANSCO in Abu Dhabi, Middle
East for diversion of 220 kV and 400 kV transmission lines to a new ICAD
400/220/33 kV grid station. The project is scheduled to be completed in 18
months.
The second order bagged for supply of transmission towers worth Rs 26 crore
is to be executed in Tasmania, Australia.
The third order worth Rs 27 crore for setting up transmission line is from
West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company. The project involves
construction of transmission lines on turnkey basis for the 132 kV D/C
Gokarna-Lalgola and 132 kV S/C LILO of Gokarna-Lalgola line. The 60 km
transmission line is to be laid in 18 months.
