L&T has bagged four EPC orders from Qatar, UAE and Oman totalling to Rs 1,044
crore. The projects are to be executed by Electrical & Gulf Operating Company, a
part of L&T's construction division.
L&T won a Rs 737 crore EPC contract from Qatar Petroleum at Ras Laffan for
construction of four substations, 132 kV cabling, 33 kV and 11 kV power
distribution including telecom network development. The project is to be
executed in 32 months.
The second order valued at Rs 96 crore is from KAHRAMAA, Qatar, for
construction of one 66/11 kV gas insulated substation at education city Doha.
The third order is from Dubai Electricity & Water Authority in UAE for
construction of one 132/11 kV GIS at Dubai. The order is valued at Rs 115 crore.
The company secured a contract for Rs 96 crore from Oman Electricity &
Transmission Company for construction of one 132/33 kV GIS substation at Nakhal
Area of Oman.
